Painting - Syllabus
These
classes are for the beginning or intermediate painter. Each
student will have individual attention and will complete one
or more paintings. There will be demonstrations in every class.
Class

Introduction,
discussion of supplies and introduction to color, painting demonstration
and one finished painting will be completed.
Class
# 2
Discussion
of surfaces with demonstrations on the preparation various canvases,
ridged and flexible surfaces, etc.
Class
# 3
References,
inspirations and a discussion of painting techniques and composition.
Also comparison of several artists work.
Class
# 4
Watercolor
media, painting technique on paper demonstrated
Class # 5
Demonstration
using a variety of water based paints and mixed media painting
demonstration.

Review,
